Although it’s important to be concerned about your overall health and well-being during the ongoing Novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak and enhanced Community Quarantine, the condition of your pets is just as important. That’s rightโ your dogs, cats, and pets deserve to be cared for too. Thus, it’s important to be prepared during any emergency.
But if you’re not sure about which vets are still open, don’t worry. We’ve compiled a list of vets who are open despite the quarantine. These include:
5. Animal House
Animal House has 3 branches open during quarantineโ 2 branches in Quezon City and 1 in Makati. The Quezon City branches include the one in Aurora (New Manila)ย and one along Sta. Mesa Heights (Del Monte). On the other hand, the Makati one is on Jupiter Street. It was founded in 1986 by 2 graduates from the University of the Philippines. Aside from being a veterinary hospital, it’s also a pet grooming clinic.
However, due to the quarantine, they will have shortened clinic hours effective March 18 from 7 AM to 4 PM. In addition, they’ll only accept vaccination for puppies, along with critical and emergency cases only. To know more, check their post here.

4. Pendragon Veterinary Clinic
Located at Kalayaan Avenue near Diliman, Pendragon was established last 2004 by Mayem Yao, DVM as a veterinary service geared towards providing premium health service. Not only do they diagnose using their animal diagnostic laboratory, but they also pride themselves in using innovative and successful medical methods to treat pets.
Effective March 16, Pendragon announced that they will be operatingย on a skeletal force. This means that they will be open for emergency cases and follow up outpatients (OPD), but they can only accommodate a limited number of clients. 3. Vets on the Block
A veterinary clinic that was established last 2000, Vets on the Block is located along Hyacinth Street in the Roxas District area of Quezon City. Aside from their veterinary services, they’re also known for their low-cost spaying and neutering services.
As of March 16, they remain open, but they too have reduced their hours from 10 AM to 5 PM. The vet also operates in a limited capacity, so they encourage you to set an appointment in advance.

2. The Pet Project Vet Clinic
Located in Regidor Street along San Juan de Monte, The Pet Project Vet Clinic is a huge house that was converted into a clinic. Run by Dr. Riza Zunio and Dr. Melay Pelayo, they offer veterinary service mostly for dogs and cats.
Effective March 18, they announced that they will be open from 10 AM to 5 PM on skeletal staff. However, appointments must be booked in advance, and only 1 companion per pet is allowed. Also, said companion has to wear a mask and seniors plus those with recent travels aren’t allowed.

1. Furry Tales Vet Clinic
Furry Tales Vet Clinic strongly believes that “healing begins with gentle hands and compassionate care.” Located at Rajah Matanda in Project 4, Quezon City, they mostly cater to dogs and cats.
In line with the enhanced community quarantine, they are open from 10 AM to 5 PM only. Plus, they will accommodate only 2 clients at a time, and only 1 companion is allowed per patient. Face masks also need to be worn at all times. For more details, check their post here.
