When In Manila, I used to say that I CAN live without a mobile phone… not until someone took that phone away from me. A heartbreaking experience that made me think about how I can check my emails and Facebook accounts on the go (well, I can bring my laptop but it’s not really practical for me since I commute); and my photos… food shots, selfies… I didn’t know what to do. I became so problematic after that incident. I felt like something was missing in me.
Admit it or not, mobile phones have become a necessity for almost everyone today. I knew I needed to come up with a new phone to get going again BUT having a good phone that has all the specifications I need, does not really come in cheap.
Then, I was introduced to Cherry Mobile ULTRA.
Honestly speaking, when I was told about the brand of the phone… I wasn’t really excited since it was Cherry Mobile (if it was a high end brand, I would literally be screaming in joy); but, when the specifications of the mobile phone were enumerated to me, I was like “REALLLLY? That’s so cool! I want it!”
When I personally saw the unit’s design, I fell in love with it right there.
And because I want to share my experience with you, I have listed the 5 reasons why I love my CHERRY MOBILE ULTRA!
5 Reasons WHY I LOVE My Cherry Mobile ULTRA
1. It is lightweight and has a classy design.
When I got hold of my Cherry Mobile Ultra, I can’t help but notice how light it is. To prove it was really light, I compared it to my iTouch 4th Gen.. And yes, it was lighter still. The design of the Cherry Mobile Ultra is similar to a Blackberry Z10, having pearly white plastic back case with a white colored chin in front. Classy!
2. It has a good front and back camera.
I love taking photos, especially taking selfies; so a mobile phone with a good front cam works very well for me. I didn’t really expect Cherry Mobile Ultra to meet this specification, but it did! Having a 5MP front camera, I love how I can take clear photos of me, anytime, anywhere! (In daylight of course; but I got my Gogoflash’s help to make my selfies clearer at night.)
The 13MP back camera, on the other hand, is also pretty good. It would be better though if the camera can focus faster and adjust to light better, other than that, photo will be good just like my food shots below.

3. It is LTE-enabled.
Hooray for LTE! Internet speed is really fast especially on areas with LTE like Makati and some parts of Quezon City. As fast as 1, 2, 3.. I can upload batch photos and watch videos without interruption… And browsing, no problem at all! Good job on creating an LTE-enabled phone!
4. It doesn’t hang, lag or crash.. whatever you call it. 🙂
Been using Cherry Mobile Ultra for a month now, and I can say that I have downloaded all apps that I want and used it to max. So far, I’m really happy that despite all apps open and simultaneous transfer from one app to another, my Cherry Mobile Ultra hasn’t showed signs of crashing or lagging. 🙂 Just a heads up, when using mobile data + browsing + tethering all together, the unit becomes hot easily, and battery won’t charge while it is hot, so just cool it down.
5. It is REALLY affordable considering the good specifications it has!
Aside from the above mentioned, Cherry Mobile Ultra has all these specifications:

You get all these for the price of Php 8,999.00 … Pretty affordable right?
When In Manila, Cherry Mobile Ultra has been a very good surprise for me. Until now when my friends talk about buying the latest mobile phones, I would always say that I am happy with my Cherry Mobile Ultra. Would I recommend buying it? YES! And with that, I will be watching out for the future products of Cherry Mobile. 🙂
