A healthy lifestyle is something we all aim to achieve but have so much difficulty in doing so. Be it from the complexity of the exercise or even to the fact that there are ‘kainans’ every week, it just seems IMPOSSIBLE at this point. But cast all your worries aside as these 5 local fitness and lifestyle channels show you the way, one step at a time.

5. tomi DeLa cruz

Tomi Dela Cruz is Filipina Vlogger with videos focusing on diet and exercise. She believes that success doesn’t happen overnight and by that she means skip those overnight miracles and extreme diets because they really won’t work! She joined Youtube just last March of this year but she has already uploaded a variety of videos on her channel, including “Easy and Healthy Vegan Recipes,” “a Gym Shoulder Workout,” and “Cardio Jump Rope Exercises.”

4. Chrisma Joy / FILIPINA FITNESS

Chrisma Joy/FILIPINA FITNESS is a channel that dates all the way back to 2011. Chrisma Joy is a nurse that is into fitness and this particular interest of hers has sparked the creation of her channel. One of her most popular videos is the “DAY 30: PAANO AKO PUMAYAT AT LUMIIT ANG TIYAN IN 30 DAYS (PHILIPPINES)” and I can totally see why. Right from the get-go, she explains what kinds of food she ate as well as the exercises she performed. She’s definitely living proof of how a determined mindset can achieve practically anything!

3. Patricia Gatus

Patricia Gatus is a fitness, sports, and travel enthusiast living in Metro Manila. Also known as PATGAT, she is a registered medical technologist by profession. Some of our favorite videos include the “Full body Kettlebell Workout” and “Pilate Movements for Core.” Another thing that sets her apart is that she has videos on the specific tools to use during workouts (for both at home and during travel).

2. Simply Pinay

Kat of Simply Pinay is another Fitness Channel you should definitely hit the subscribe button for. Despite only starting her career back in May 2018, she has already gained a following of 107,000 subscribers! And this comes as no surprise as she puts out quality content every.single.time. From beginner-friendly workout routines, common dieting mistakes and healthy meal ideas, you are in for a treat. <3

1. J&A dance workout

J&A dance workout is a channel made by dance choreographers, Jun and Arlene back in 2014 (they’re actually a dance couple <3). They’ve choreographed beginner-friendly dances for some of today’s hit songs such as Señorita (by Shawn Mendes and Camilia Cabello) and KILL THIS LOVE (by Blackpink). But if that isn’t your cup of tea, then that’s totally fine because they also have a bunch of iconic OPM tracks up on their channel.
