7. Get wacky at Art in Island.
Literally become a part of art at Art in Island. Kids won’t just enjoy the art in this place; they’ll enjoy posing with each bit of artwork, too. Make sure everyone eats beforehand, though. This may look tame, but posing all day can actually get pretty tiring.
6. Jump into a bunch of balls.
Find a playground that provides a big ball pit or fill up an inflatable swimming pool at home with a bunch of balls, depending on how old your kids are. Either way, kids always find ball pits fun, so you can’t go wrong with this idea.
5. Jump, jump, jump!
If you’re up for it, take the whole family to Greenfield in Mandaluyong to jump on a bunch of trampolines. You won’t just be jumping on the trampolines, either. You can do stunts, play basketball, pretend you’re superheroes – the sky’s the limit!
4. Go to Dreamplay.
If your child is six years old or above, then Dreamplay in City of Dreams is the place to be. There’s a height limit, so you might want to check if your kids make it above it first; but if they do make it past the limit, then they are in for a whole day of fun. The challenges at Dreamplay are fun for everyone and seeing the Dreamplay characters in real life is an added treat for the kiddies!
3. Have them act like adults at Kidzania.
If you want to get your kids ready for adult life, then Kidzania is the best way to do so. Here, kids will learn the value of money while learning how to do certain jobs. Who knows? Your kids might just figure out what they want to do for a living after visiting Kidzania on a regular basis.
2. Explore the Mind Museum.
It may depend on the child, but I know for sure that this is my daughter’s number one go-to place to beat boredom. She enjoys learning and exploring in the Mind Museum, and especially loves it when they have special exhibits going on.
1. Beat the heat at Palace Pool Club.
Photo from Palace Pool Club’s Facebook page.
You may think this is a joke, but it’s not: Palace Pool Club is now open to kids and pets, so the entire family can now spend their afternoons lounging around on the Palace Pool Club’s fun floaters and around the pool. This is definitely the perfect place to be if you live in a hot city like Manila!
What do you do to beat your kids’ boredom? Did we miss anything on the list?
