10 Awesome Television Series That Are Making A Comeback in 2014

Game of Thrones

Now, this is the television series you must watch out for. The newest season of this HBO hit is set to air anytime during the first 6 months of 2014.

Compared to Vikings’ battle scenes, the ones in Game of Thrones are more brutal and disturbing. The Red Wedding episode in itself is something that’ll scar the minds of anyone who’s watched it. It’s brutal. The carnage is disturbingly amazing. Blood, gore and violence never looked so real.

The season finale was not as dramatic as the one that preceded, it but itwas good enough for a finale. It basically tied up loose ends.

So, what’s in store for Season 4? Only one thing’s for sure: it’s going to be epic. And since we’ve to wait a little longer, I suggest re-watching previous episodes for now. That’s definitely what I’m going to do.

The Voice

Usher and Shakira are making a comeback as coaches in the highly popular singing reality show The Voice in Season 6, which airs this February.

The Walking Dead

Zombies are here to stay for a few more months. The Walking Dead is renewed for another season, which is really a no-brainer since its Season 4 premiere shattered ratings records when it garnered 16.1 million viewers. Interestingly, the television series’ Season 3 finale is also a record-breaker at 12.4 million viewers.

Season 5 will have to wait because we still have the second half of Season 4 in February. The main question all throughout the seasons is: who will survive?

The Blacklist

Any drama that involves government agents, high-profile criminals, the CIA or FBI, and lots of action is definitely worth watching. That’s why I loved Alias and Nikita.

We all know the show’s premise: FBI’s number 1 most wanted criminal turns himself in and decides to help nail down criminals under the condition that he only works with agent Elizabeth Keen. We’re still wondering what his true motives for helping the government is.

But that has to wait because there are more pressing concerns. The mid-season finale left us several questions: Where is Red?  Who is the mole in the FBI? Can Liz track down the Good Samaritan killer?

The second half of Season 1 returns this January.

There are so many fun things to do and place to go When in Manila, but if you’re not in the mood to party the night away, why not just stay home and watch some TV? These television series are surely going to make your alone time worth it this 2014.
