The Web has definitely been a platform for showcasing talent that once was exclusive to anything that had the word stage. It has unveiled talent upon talent, one hit at a time. This award is for that one video maker, individual or group, who shook the Pinoy web space with their creations. Being celebrities in their own right, they have made videos that would definitely leave a mark on their chosen audience. Tatt Awards’ Video Slinger nominees are Christine Gambito of happylsip.com, Fliptop Battles of youtube.com/fliptopbattles, Bekimon of youtube.com/bernjosep, Mikey Bustos of youtube.com/MikeyBustosVideos, and Ashley Rivera a.k.a. Petra Mahalimuyak of youtube.com/ashleyslips.

Each phrase they post is a possible quote, what they had to say is awaited for. In 140 characters or less, they have sparked minds all over the Philippines. The nominated #ThoughtMovers are Lea Salonga of twitter.com/MsLeaSalonga, Bianca Gonzales of twitter.com/iamsuperbianca, Tonyo Cruz of twitter.com/tonyocruz, Save Philippine Seas of twitter.com/savePHseas, and Vencer Crisostomo of twitter.com/venzie.

You know what’s even cooler? We can be part of the first Tatt Awards by casting our votes. Voting will be open to anyone with a Facebook account, as votes can only be entered upon logging into the Tatt Awards portal via Facebook. It has begun August 10 at midnight, and will end August 24, 11:59 PM. I tried my best not to be partial when I was writing this, so I’ll visit Globe Tatt’s page now to cast my vote 🙂

By the way, two units of Globe Tattoo MyFi were  raffled off during the event. Unfortunately for me, I didn’t get one. Maybe we can try connecting to the internet using MyFi next time, When in Manila.
