It’s official: Zanjoe Marudo and Ria Atayde are in a relationship.
The actor confirmed it in an interview with Karen Davila on Headstart about his upcoming series Dirty Linen.
She asked, “I heard you were in a new relationship?”
Marudo answered, “Yes, parang it’s out in the open naman na, so yes.”
Davila followed this up with a question about marriage and he responded, “Sobra akong nage-enjoy ngayon sa sitwasyon ng buhay ko, sa career ko, sa personal life, pero siyempre, ‘yung mga ganyang bagay, masyado pang personal.”
Rumors of a relationship started in August 2022 when they were spotted together in New York. In October, Atayde’s mother Sylvia Sanchez revealed that the two are dating. Marudo and Atayde, however, did not confirm it, even as they shared more photos of a Japan trip with friends and a holiday get-together.
