In a lengthy post on Facebook, Yasmien recounted the bullying incident that Ayesha endured. According to the actress, her daughter became the subject of bullying after not being able to keep up with group messages about their upcoming Christmas party while they were out of the country.
“Surrounded by 7-9 students, Ayesha was blocked from leaving the classroom and was denied her food and recess!” she wrote. “In other words, she was ganged up.”
The content creator also mentioned that her daughter took a vacation from school after another student harassed her by taking a video without her consent, causing her eldest to struggle with “paranoia and anxiety.”
She aired out her distress: “Ayesha is just a kid; she recently turned 12. And she has been enduring this type of bullying since grade 2. Alarmingly, this has led to the creation of an online ‘AYESHA HATE CLUB’ targeting her.”
“I am not surprised that the parents of bullies come to their rescue. However, twisting events and claiming it was a regular student meeting and questioning back my daughter’s behavior is absurd,” she continued.
She also reflected on the ongoing situation with a question: “Mind you, these are mostly girls, if not all. Gusto mo bang gawin ito sa anak mong babae (Would you want the same thing to happen to your daughter?).”
In a separate post, the 35-year-old TV personality felt apologetic for what her daughter has been going through.

“I’m so sorry, Ayesha. You have to go through all of this because I am your mom. But I will always be here for you. I will protect you with all my life. You are beautiful inside and out,” she captioned her post.
Following her posts against bullying, followers and fellow celebrities rushed to their side and sent messages of love and support.
“Akap! Nandito sila Tito Rodjun mo for you anytime. Super ganda mo at talented mo Ayesha kaya madami ang inggit sayo (Hugs! Uncle Rodjun is always here anytime. Ayesha, you are pretty and talented that’s why they are jealous of you) Love you! We love you! God will protect you always,” actor Rodjun Cruz wrote.
Fellow actor Rocco Nacino is quick to protect the Starstruck alum’s daughter: “Tito (Uncle) will give you private lessons on Jiujitsu. Bullies will not even dare next time!”
“Hugs Ayesha. God is with you! And you have a loving super family beside you always and forever,” actress and comedienne Chariz Solomon commented.
Ayesha is Yasmien’s eldest daughter with Rey Soldevilla, whom she married in January 2012. In April 2024, they welcomed their second daughter, Raya Layla, via a cesarean section.
