Year upon year, many high-flyers have attended the International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta to showcase the grandeur of the hot air balloon. While many festival-goers don’t actually fly hot air balloons, admirers get a chance to ride one to soaring altitudes, or simply ogle at the celestial beauty when multiple of these take flight.
Although according to authorities at the Clark International Venue, this may be the last time the festival will be held at the airport grounds. Also according to the airport authorities, the three-year Memorandum of Agreement entered into in 2014 by the Clark Development Corporation, the Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta Foundation and CIAC will expire this year.
