We’re Loving Ariana Grande’s New Song Dedicated to Her Exes, “Thank U, Next”

If there are certain songs that people seem to really love, it’s breakup songs. Why? Probably because we can all relate to them on some level. Also, it feels good to emote when sad songs come on.

Well, Ariana Grande recently released a new single about her exes. Yes, instead of singing about just one past love, she decided to sing about all of them. Prior to releasing “Thank U, Next,” she had teased about the song a little, which also happens to be the title of her new album. On Twitter, she promised that she wouldn’t be releasing a song that would drag them down, tweeting “no drags, no shade, just love, gratitude, acceptance, honesty, forgiveness and growth”.

Yes. Unlike other breakup songs, Ariana’s song to her exes is a little different in that she actually thanks her exes in it. (In case you didn’t know, Ariana used to date Ricky Alvarez, Big Sean, Mac Miller, and Pete Davidson.)
