A buzz recently swept through social media as content creators and influencers received mysterious, anonymous invitations to a secret “CLVB.” With only the hashtag #WelcomeToTheCLVB, details about the event’s nature, location, and organizers remained elusive.
WhenInManila.com received an invitation, too, and our curiosity was piqued! We were filled with questions: What was going to happen? Where was this secret “CLVB?” Most importantly, what exactly was it?
On March 12, 2025, we finally got our answers! Nokal, a basement club in Makati was transformed into a vibrant disco, bathed in gold lights and a purple ambiance, where eager guests awaited the grand reveal.
The crowd erupted in cheers, ready for the announcement. The program kicked off with an exciting video showcasing a new drink designed for the new generation. Described as very smooth, perfect for sharing with friends, and the ultimate mood-setter for the relaxed “CLVB” vibe, the secret was unveiled: CLVB Empi.
Waiters then roamed through the club, offering shots to everyone. Many guests reacted with “wows,” nods of approval, and broad smiles, and captured the moment on their phones—a fun, classic Gen Z behavior. Several remarked on the drink’s smoothness and light, delicious taste.
Naturally, with such positive feedback, we had to try a second shot! This time, CLVB Empi was served neat in a rocks glass. As the liquor’s flavor deepened, the energy in the room surged, keeping the vibrant vibe alive throughout the unforgettable night. Everyone also had their own bottles of the CLVB!
