This mermaid-inspired makeup collection was released by Italian cosmetics brand KIKO Milano. WhenInManila.com was present at the launch party, held at Electric Garden in BGC last August 1, 2023. Hosted by Janeena Chan, the launch was attended by influencers, celebrities, and KIKO Milano’s newly-launched Philippine ambassador Marian Rivera, who graced the event with her husband, Dingdong Dantes.

The launch comes just in time for the re-release of Disney’s live-action The Little Mermaid in select cinemas on August 16, but this time, as a sing-along version.

KIKO Milano described the collection: “This extraordinary collaboration brings the magic of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid to life through a collection inspired by the colors, spirit, and ethereal essence of Ariel and her underwater realm.
