WATCH: ‘The War for the Planet of the Apes’ Trailer is Full of Action

I’ve been fascinated with the ‘Planet of the Apes’ movies ever since I watched the very first one (the 1968 one). It may have been lacking in the special effects department (it is an old movie, after all), but I loved the storyline of it and watched it from beginning to end with the utmost interest.

Tim Burton has made a ‘Planet of the Apes’ movie, too; and while a lot of my friends weren’t fond of it, I still found myself interested in the storyline of it. We are now on the third instalment of the latest ‘Planet of the Apes’ movies, and here I am, still as excited as ever.

The trailer to ‘War for the Planet of the Apes’ was recently released and in it, we see a few apes riding while Caesar says, “I did not start this war. I offered you peace. I showed you mercy. But now you are here to finish us off for good.” As he says this, we see soldiers walking up the jungle, shooting at the jungle, searching for the apes and even being captured by the apes. There is basically a lot of shooting going on. And then there is Woody Harrelson in all of his painted facial glory as he, too, shoots at an ape.

‘War for the Planet of the Apes’ is still directed by Matt Reeves (same as ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes‘) and is set to show in July 2017. Will you be watching this movie? 🙂
