WATCH: This Fan-Made Video of Glaiza de Castro as Trese Has the Internet Shook

Netflix’s TV adaptation of the Filipino-made comics Trese has finally premiered, and people have…opinions. The show is currently facing criticism, especially from many Trese fans, who think that Liza Soberano’s Trese voice is “flat and monotonous.” The Filipina actress was tapped by Netflix to voice the young, badass detective for the Tagalog version of the TV series. Hollywood actress and Pretty Little Liars star Shay Mitchell, who is also part-Filipino, voices Trese in the English version.

With the discussion currently surrounding the show, netizens have started suggesting who they think could perfectly embody Alexandra Trese’s voice in the show. One name that’s being thrown around a lot is that of actor-singer Glaiza da Castro, who is no stranger to portraying badass characters.

But here’s what’s got the internet shook. One Trese fan loved the idea of Glaiza as Trese so much, that she spent countless hours going through Glaiza clips to create what people are calling a masterpiece. Watch this fan-made edit of Trese featuring Glaiza de Castro below:

The artist behind this video, named Kuina Hikari on Facebook, captioned the post with:

Glaiza De Castro as Alexandra Trese ? (pati sigaw boses niya gamit ko) #TreseOnNetflix

After the post went viral, she added to write,

edit keme: Glaiza has always been the fan favorite for years!

As of writing, the video has over 100,000 views, and over 8,000 reactions.
