Are you ready, kids (and theater fans)?!
ICYMI, Spongebob Squarepants and the whole Bikini Bottom gang will be landing on Broadway this year. Yep, Spongebob Squarepants is going to be a Broadway musical because it’s 2017 and anything can happen.
But before you get all judgy, a short sneak peek of the upcoming musical might be able to change some prejudices that you have on this show.
Facebook page BroadwayWorld released a behind-the-scene footage of SpongeBob Broadway. And it actually sounds and looks good.

The original musical will be featuring songs from some of the best international artists in the industry such as Cyndi Lauper, Panic! At The Disco, David Bowie, Steven Tyler & Joe Perry, John Legend, and so much more. It’s bound to be a real musical masterpiece.
