WATCH: Pinay Rapping Grandma Surprises ‘Asia’s Got Talent’ Judges

On the first episode of this year’s ‘Asia’s Got Talent,’ Pinay grandma Mercifuletes Viola surprised the judges and the crowd when she rapped to Jessie J’s ‘Price Tag.’ With three yeses, she’s now ready to compete in the next round.

Viola, a 68-year-old retired grandma from the Philippines, has proven that age shouldn’t hinder anyone from bringing happiness to people. Her rapping performance certainly brought smiles to the judges’ faces and drew loud cheers from the audience.

‘Asia’s Got Talent’ is currently on its second season with Canadian musician and record producer David Foster, Indonesian recording artist Anggun, and Korean-American hip-hop artist Jay Park as judges.
