It’s been 18 years since A Walk to Remember tore our hearts into pieces and made us cry buckets. Since then, star Mandy Moore has never sung the emotionally moving song she performed in the movie. I’m talking, of course, about “Only Hope” which her character Jamie sings at a school play to her love interest Landon (Shane West).
Who could ever forget this moment?!
But for the first time in those 18 years, Mandy revisited the iconic song and performed it to her fans in an Instagram Live last Sunday, April 5, as part of her in-home concert with husband Taylor Goldsmith!
Just listening to her belt out the high notes and sing it with so much emotion is enough to transport us back to 2002.

“Only Hope” was originally performed by rock band Switchfoot but was made popular for Mandy’s rendition for the movie.
