Our latest LSS is CL’s “Lover Like Me” and she recently released the music video.

“Lover Like Me” is the second single from the upcoming ALPHA, her first solo album after 2NE1 disbanded in 2017. The song is the second pre-release single following “SPICY.”
CL co-wrote the song with Korean rapper Nafla and British singer-songwriter Anne-Marie.
ALPHA is set to be released on October 22, 2021. It was originally planned to launch in November 2020 but was moved to make improvements.
CL told W Korea that “there were a lot of things I needed to experience in order to learn.”
The singer, songwriter, and rapper got her start in 2009 as one of the members of the Korean girl group 2NE1. They were known for their hits “Fire” and “I Don’t Care,” becoming one become one of the most popular K-pop groups during their peak. CL made her solo debut with the single “The Baddest Female” in 2013. When 2NE1 disbanded, she focused on her solo career with the songs “Hello B*tches” and “Lifted.”

CL also made the news recently as she and BLACKPINK’s Rosé are the first female K-pop artists to attend the Met Gala, described as “fashion’s biggest night out.”
