A mother’s prayer has come to life after Filipino conjoined twins were successfully separated during a six-hour surgery in Saudi Arabia.

In a post on X, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid & Relief Centre shared that twins Olivia Faith and Giana Faith Manuel successfully underwent the procedure and are now recovering.

The surgery, which took place at King Abdullah Specialist Children’s Hospital in Riyadh, was carried out in six surgical phases. It also involved a multidisciplinary team of 22 medical specialists.
According to authorities, this procedure marked the 72nd conjoined twin separation surgery since the program’s establishment in 1990.
In April 2026, another set of Filipino conjoined twins, Klea Ann and Maurice Ann Misa, were also successfully separated.
