Warriors Back With A Fresh Start After Loss; Beats Suns 103-128

Despite coming back from their first loss of the season, the Golden State Warriors hit it strong against the Phoenix Suns Wednesday evening (Tuesday morning in the Philippines).

Klay Thompson, fully recovered after a leg injury two games back, led the Warriors with 43 points, two assists, and three boards. Curry followed with 25 points, two boards and seven assists on 10 of 14 shooting from the field.

Draymond Green had 16 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists for his fourth triple-double this season.

The Warriors started slow, handing the Suns the first quarter lead. But they turned the tide during the second and third quarter, scoring a massive 46 points in the third – the largest in any quarter in the NBA this season.

The Warriors decided to take it slow in the fourth, but with a massive lead from both second and third quarters, the Suns struggled for points, but failed to take the lead home.

Thompson hit 15-of-22 shots and 8-of-13 3-pointers in his first 40-point game this season.

Meanwhile, Mirza Teletovic scored 24 points, two assists, and four boards off the bench for the Suns. T.J. Warren pitched 19 points, eight boards, and three assists with 9 of 15 from the field.

The Warriors now will get a shot at Milwaukee again when the Bucks visit Oracle Arena on Friday (Saturday morning in the Philippines). While the Suns will go head-to-head with New Orleans.
