Christine Joy Rosario pinned 18 points for the Lady Chiefs to beat Emilio Aguinaldo College Lady Generals in three sets, 25-11, 25-7, 25-20, Thursday in the resumption of the 91st NCAA women’s volleyball.
Jovielyn Prado pitched a good 13 points, while Danna Henson added 12 points for the Lady Chiefs.
For the Lady Generals, only Yvonne Reyes was in double digit territory with 10 points.
Arellano will need just one more win to grab the spot in the semifinals. The Lady Chiefs’ last assignments are College of St. Benilde and Jose Rizal University.
Only the top two teams after the 9-game eliminations will advance in the next round where the top two teams will be armed with a twice-to-beat advantage.
