VIRAL: Video of Miss Universe Staff “Asking Miss Colombia to put the Crown on Pia’s Head”

Oh my, just when I was barely moving on with this Miss Universe hullabaloo, another video circulated online and it really caught my attention. It is a viral video of how a Miss Universe staff asked Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez to put the crown on the true winner’s head, Miss Philippines, Pia Wurtzbach. 

The crown was meant for her, period.

The video didn’t have clear audio or English translation that the staff was really asking her to do such, but the gesture transpired otherwise.

Check out the video shared by Neon.ph in Instagram. It’s just a 15-second clip, so it’s really hard to tell.

However, with Miss Australia’s revelation the other day on a Morning show Sunrise – that Miss Philippines who really won and was indicated on the teleprompter – it ended all the rumors and speculations.

Admittedly, I would give the 1st runner-up the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps, she was really overwhelmed and didn’t know what to do or to react.
