Banawe is known for more than just its auto repair shops and Chinese restaurants. They’ve got tons of other restaurants— from Singaporean to Korean, Japanese, and even Vietnamese, just to name a few. While some of these are new concepts, many of them are longstanding classics that have stood the test of time.
One of these classics includes Tra Vinh. Named after a province in Vietnam, this restaurant is known for offering Southern Vietnamese dishes. This includes fresh spring rolls, noodle soups, and rice dishes. What’s more, each dish is prepared fresh daily!
Anyone craving a nice bowl of pho?
While Tra Vinh has become something of a household brand for Banawe residents, you don’t need to go far to get their Vietnamese dishes. All you have to do is give them a call and they’ll send a fresh steaming bowl of Pho straight to you!
To order, all you have to do is give them a call or message them on Facebook or Instagram. Once your order is confirmed, you have the choice of paying via BDO, BPI, or Metrobank bank deposit. Alternatively, you can also pay with cash upon receiving your order.
For those who can’t go out, Tra Vinh will send your orders through Joyride. If you’re nearby, though, you can also visit their branch in Banawe to pick up your food.

During the general community quarantine, Tra Vinh will be open everyday from 11 AM to 6 PM, so make sure to send in your orders before then!
UPDATE: Tra Vinh is currently accepting dine-in customers. In line with safety guidelines for the new normal, restaurant staff wear masks, and are trained to regularly sanitize the establishment. Proper social distancing among patrons is to be enforced, and customers must wear face masks or shields upon entering and exiting.
