When speaking to the press about going digital, he made it clear that he was not just given permission by his ABS-CBN bosses in pursuing this new venture but was encouraged to do so.

Vice also mentioned he hopes to hire the displaced ABS-CBN workers and offer them a source of livelihood.

Una naming gustong i-accommodate ‘yung mga nawalan ng trabaho sa ABS-CBN — mga writers, graphic artists and other talents, especially ‘yung mga nakatrabaho ko na noon pa,” he said.

“I also want to help the stand-up comedians na natengga dahil wala na ang live performances. Ang sakit sa puso ko, hindi ko pwede pabayaan ‘yung mga anak-anakan ko. I want to give them a platform,” he added.

Vice is set to premiere his website, Viceganda.com.ph, on July 24, Friday beginning with episodes of his talk show, Gandang Gabi Vice.
