I asked Mr. Jun about their famous services, and he said that customers usually go to Urban Fringe Salon for hair coloring and hair treatments like the Keratin, Brazillian Blowout, Rebonding, and Steam Bond to name some. Keratin and Brazillian treatments condition the hair and make it smoother and shinier. They don’t make the hair really straight unlike what the rebonding treatments do.
Steam bond, on the other hand, uses L’Oreal’s Steampod– a steam iron that really looks like a hair iron, and it’s done to straighten the hair, as well, but with less hair damage and more natural straight hair-look, and it’s faster than rebonding with just four hours.
They do digital perms, too.
They also provide manicures and pedicures.
We also chanced upon Banana Split cast and stand-up comedian, Pooh who was getting a mani-pedi service. The actress Gladys Reyes is also a regular customer at Urban Fringe Salon for haircuts and hair treatments.
They also do make-up, hairstyling, hair threading, and hair waxing. Home services are available, too, but for double the price.
With Pooh in the salon, we couldn’t help but laugh as he shared stories with the stylists. The stylists are friendly and well-mannered. Their stories also entertained me, even though I wasn’t really part of the conversation. Hehe.
My hair’s a bit blonde now because of the highlights. What do you think of this hair color? Mr. Jun also trimmed my hair. 🙂
I also liked Jo’s new haircut! Her wavy, now-layered hair really looks good on her. It framed her face, as well.
This is the friendly and kind staff of Urban Fringe Salon led by Mr. Jun Almencion.
Thanks, Urban Fringe Salon, for earning our trust and for not disappointing us. 🙂
