Song Hye Kyo was the lead star in the 2004 South Korean television series “Full House”, which was based on the South Korean comic (manhwa) of the same title by Won Soo-Yeon. She played the character of Han Ji-Eun, alongside Jeong Ji-hoon aka Rain as Lee Young-Jae.
The K-Drama was then broadcasted in the Philippines in 2005 via GMA–one of the first few that birthed our love for the genre! Dubbed in Filipino, the main characters were renamed “Jessie” (played by Song Hye-Kyo) and Justin (played by Rain).
It was then given a Philippine adaptation which premiered in 2009 as part of the network’s Telebabad lineup. It was directed by Mark A. Reyes, with Richard Gutierrez (Justin) and Heart Evangelista (Jessie) as the lead stars.
Song Hye Kyo is now 40 years old, while Heart Evangelista is 37.
