There still has been no confirmation on the whole Robert-Pattinson-being-Batman thing, and Robert has been extra careful about speaking about it when asked about it during Cannes. However, that hasn’t stopped die-hard ‘Twilight’ fans from wishing and hoping that Kristen Stewart gets cast as Catwoman alongside Robert’s potential Batman.
Catwoman aka Selina Kyle still hasn’t appeared in the DC Extended Universe, though interest has been expressed in the past. Kristen has also expressed interest in being in a superhero movie back in 2015 when she expressed a love for superhero movies. “I’m sure I could get on board with Captain America, you know what I mean? … It would just have to be the right thing,” she said. Different universe, but still.
Robert and Kristen used to date back during their ‘Twilight’ days until Kristen cheated on Robert with Rupert Sanders, the director of ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’. They got back together for a short while after that, and officially ended their relationship in May 2013.
The shortlist for the role of Batman currently includes Robert Pattinson, Nicholas Hoult, Armie Hammer, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. ‘The Batman’ is set to show in June 2021.
