An 8-week old kitten was just rescued from a hole he was stuck in, in the pavement. No one knows how he got there in the first place, or what litter he belonged to, but thankfully he was noticed by someone who cared enough to help. The kitten named Curry got out with the help of the Makati Fire Department.

Curryโs rescue and his tending to afterward the ordeal was overseen by Arf Manila, a non-profit organization geared towards ensuring animal welfare. Although Curry is out of immediate danger, he still needs a lot of help and we can give it to him.
Arf Manila generally operates on the basis of donations and is calling for more to lessen the burden of Curryโs vet bills. Aside from a checkup Curry was dewormed, had his fleas treated, and is scheduled for a complete vaccination. They assure us that official receipts will be given to the donors and that all donations are included in their financial audit report.
Curry is also badly in need of a foster home for 2 months! The rehoming will be temporary and will only last until he can be exposed to other rescues. Their call for help reads:
Hello. My name is CURRY. A male rescue kitten (8 weeks old) who was stucked inside a pavement hole at a street in Makati. I’m currently at BSF Vet Clinic, BGC. I need help to cover my vet bill. I’m also looking for a foster parent for 2 months. Food, vitamins and other needs will be provided by ARF. Thank you to Sir TJ for reporting my situation. Special thank you to Ms. Carol (an ARF volunteer) and Sir Jose who helped with my rescue. They did not give up on me until I was rescued from the tiny hole I was in. I owe you my life.
