In an interview with Agence France-Presse, her owner Anna Weischedel said, “Everyone else has to live with coronavirus restrictions but Jenny is as free as ever.” Jenny has been roaming the streets of this neighborhood for over a decade now, and she has not caused any trouble.

Weischedel says that locals have been noticing Jenny now than before. The owner said, “People seem to notice her more because they have more time. A lot of passers-by stroke her, maybe because they are missing some human contact.”

Many people have been fond of Jenny as she makes her usual rounds. Jenny goes around the village until 4 PM each day until Anna’s 80-year-old husband, Werner, finds Jenny along her usual route and tells her it’s time to go home.
