Are you starting to miss Middle-earth and the hobbits and elves that inhabit it? Don’t worry because a new Lord of the Rings-related project is in the works–a multiplayer online video game.
According to reports, the new video game is set “at a time long before the events of The Lord of the Rings, exploring lands, people and creatures never seen before by fans of the Tolkien universe.” Sounds familiar? That’s because it resembles the setting of the upcoming The Lord of the Rings tv show. However, the creators confirmed that the two projects are unrelated.

We still don’t know which consoles we’ll be able to play the epic game. There are also no details yet about the release date so keep your eyes peeled for more updates!
