One of the movies we’re looking forward to is the Train to Busan sequel. There have been plenty of reports about the upcoming film but no release date has been confirmed. That changes now because they have announced when it’s coming out and it’s this July!
Released in 2016, Train to Busan followed a group of passengers on a train who tried to stay alive amid a zombie outbreak in South Korea. With this, the sequel is set four years after the first movie and shows the post-apocalyptic world that the zombie outbreak caused.
Directed by Yeon Sang-Ho, the movie stars Lee Jung-Hyun and Gang Dong-Won. According to sources, Train to Busan 2: Peninsula follows the story of a soldier named Jung-Seok in the Korean peninsula during the aftermath of the outbreak. He unexpectedly meets survivors of the zombie outbreak and does his best to survive.
