The Farm’s award winning ALIVE! Cuisine is an organic vegan gourmet meal that is rich in fiber and live enzymes, specifically created to aid in the organic weight loss and detoxification programs. Aside from the food, The Farm has also formulated healthy wellness beverages to go with Alive! meals. Almost all of the food prepared at The Farm are raw or dehydrated and only 15% are cooked. This enables your body to get the full nutrition of the food prepared.

FOOD PREP: An in-house chef teaches us how they prepare our vegan meals using only the freshest organic ingredients. They practice the art of dehydrating food in order to retain the color and nutritional content of the food. Plus, dehydrating food gives out more intense flavors.

 Wheat crackers are made from coconut grates or carrots. Very healthy.

The Farm’s ALIVE! vegan gourmet meals can be pretty filling. I had the 5 course meal during my entire stay and even if the meal is mostly composed of vegetables, I was always pleasantly surprised to be already full after having just the appetizer, soup and salad. But then again, I’m always interested with the main course.

 The Farm does not use any dairy product in the kitchen because they only serve vegan meals. So, how did they make the interesting cheese on the pizza?  We learned that they used macadamia nuts mixed with bell peppers. Creamy and yummy.

My favorite dessert was the coconut “baklava” with pistachio ice cream. It was a lovely mix of sweet, chewy and nutty goodness. The most popular wellness beverage is the Pineapple Mint Fizz, which was tangy and truly refreshing. I also tried the Green Lemonade for a revitalizing boost and True Cleanser, which reminded me of RocketRoom’s Rocket Fuel cocktail drink. That cayenne pepper kicked away toxins from the body 🙂

Aside from the full course meals, you may also order a la carte. If you are not keen on vegan meals, I highly recommend their pasta puttanesca and/or carbonara — SO GOOD!!!

After having an awesome day at The Farm, another thing to look forward to would be the breakfast, which starts with a fruit platter (or romaine salad), healthy cereals (with granola, popped millet, fruits, chia seeds and coconut milk) and The Farm’s champorado or Malunggay empanada.

Also, every 3:30 PM to 5 PM, The Farm provides complimentary afternoon tea and healthy snack for all guests 🙂 We had herbal tea with vegan choco chip cookies (really good), banana bread (I had three slices – yum yum yum!) and fruit skewers.

Our day at The Farm was filled with healthy, energizing food and happy memories. I think the scenery helped in boosting our joyous mood.
