For seven years, Colors of Life Philippines has been a beacon of hope for less fortunate street children and indigenous communities across the country. Founded in 2018, this volunteer-driven organization is built on a powerful vision: enriching lives through education and livelihood to create sustainable, self-sufficient communities. From providing farming equipment to the Dumagat tribe in Rizal to supporting over 2,500 children, COLPH is dedicated to turning the “colors of life” into a reality for those who need it most.

Our Advocacy: Education and Livelihood
At its heart, Colors of Life advocates for the vital importance of primary education. The organization currently supports 16 enrolled scholars and has reached more than 20 Indigenous People (IP) communities. Their mission goes beyond simple donations; it’s about inspiration and active assistance. By improving livelihood status and providing basic necessities, COLPH empowers tribes to build their own future. Their work spans from the mountains of Capas, Tarlac, Bicol, and General Nakar to the shores of Aklan, involving a dedicated network of over 100 active volunteers.

TAPAK 2026: Taking the Next Step
To fuel these life-changing programs, Colors of Life presents TAKBO PARA SA KATUTUBO (TAPAK) 2026. Now in its 4th year, this project has grown from a humble initiative into a massive community event. After the overwhelming success of TAPAK 2025, which saw over 1,600 runners and 40 corporate partners, the 2026 series is set to be even larger.
In partnership with the UP Run Club, TAPAK 2026 will feature a two-leg race series, with each leg targeting 2,000 runners.
Event Highlights (Leg 1):
Target Date: May 10, 2026
Target Venue: UP Diliman Campus (Palma Hall / Academic Oval)
Race Categories: 2KM, 5KM, and 10KM routes
Goal: Supporting the 8th Anniversary Outreach for 250 IP kids and 150 families, alongside expanding scholarship grants.
Why Your “Tapak” (Footprint) Matters
“TAPAK” translates to footprint, symbolizing the lasting impact every participant leaves behind. By joining the run, participants aren’t just crossing a finish line; they are directly contributing to:
Scholarship grants for 20 IP children
Outreach projects providing essentials for 500 IP kids and 200 families
Whether a seasoned marathoner or a casual walker, TAPAK 2026 offers a chance to run with a purpose. It is a celebration of health, community, and the shared goal of building a brighter future for the katutubo.
