STWO Live in Manila: A Night of Fun and Beats
Good music is not hard to find in Metro Manila, as long as you know where to look. There are quite a few places to avail of such in Makati. It all boils down to what you are in the mood for. There are a variety of local talents to catch. But once in a while, you hear it from good friends or just all over social media that one of your favorite foreign DJ is in town. It’s definitely exciting for our music scene to also support up and coming foreign acts. Black Market has housed TOKiMONSTA, Esta and Whooligan to name a few and just last Friday, my favorite, STWO.
It never occurred to me that I would get to see these acts play live, I would just be lurking around their soundcloud accounts. Yet, here it was – A night to see STWO drop some sick beats. Black Market was packed like it was New Year and it is a delight to see people support and share this love for STWO. It was definitely the perfect venue. The sound set-up is just pristine and the interiors make you feel like you’re at a very cool underground party. With the flashing lights, a few tequila shots and good company, it was a night for the books, indeed.
