Student Conference on Transportation Research 2014: Improving the Transportation Sector of the Country
The Eastern Asia Society for Transportation Studies – Transportation Science Society of the Philippines – Mapúa Student Chapter (EASTS – TSSP – MSC) is organizing the Student Conference on Transportation Research 2014 (SCTR 2014) to be held at Mapúa Institute of Technology on February 20 – February 22, 2014.
The SCTR is one of the biggest congregation and gathering of transportation professionals and student across the country with the intent of discussing and elucidating the various issues and problems enveloping the Philippine transportation sector. The three – day event includes lectures and workshops related to transportation engineering; a report from different government agencies responsible for the current situation of the aforementioned sector; presentation of different research paper drafted by transportation students from different academic institution; and a quiz show entitle “Transwhiz Quiz Show.”
All transportation professionals and students who are concerned in improving the transportation sector of the country are welcome to join, participate, and make – a – stand. “Let this conference be the right avenue for exchange of thoughts and ideas for this vital sector of the community – the transportation sector is one of the fundamental pillars of success of this country and by this activity alone we make a difference and help to propel the steering ship of success of the Philippines to its right course,” said by Robert Miguel Sandoval president to the EASTS – TSSP – MSC.
