UP Ayala Land Technohub has been the accidental home of this cute, golden pup. He races along the green fields whenever he spots a friend. Many residents and workers in the area have fallen in love with him. He is just so exuberant! But as happy as he looks, he is actually homeless and must brave the elements and all manners of danger from being outside every day.
Mommy Ara, an animal lover who works at the UP Ayala Land Technohub at Commonwealth Avenue has been looking out for him for quite some time and scouting around for a loving home for him. She has named him Louie, a friendly and playful Aspin who can pass for a Golden Retriever with his golden coat.
Two months ago, she thought she found the ‘one’ for Louie but, sadly, she was wrong.

I had the mistake of choosing Louie’s adopter all by myself. Relying on my instinct that whoever showed compassion and care might be a good furparent. I was all wrong… I was promised they would adopt Louie and that was 2 months ago … They had seen him at the TechnoHub gardens but Louie was aloof and did not want a leash on him. I told them I can help by introducing the leash to Louie little by little until he gets comfortable with it since I see him everyday before I go to the office. That was a week ago and now Louie is ready to be fetched but I was told they will no longer adopt him because he is having an argument with his wife about the adoption. I was brokenhearted about this…
To get help in finding the right parent for Louie, she reached out to Bantay Animal Welfare (BAW).
I don’t want him to fall into the wrong hands..He still needs a home. Those interested to adopt him can get in touch with BAW.
This pup is more than cute. He is magnificent! I can’t believe that he has been homeless all this time. People should be racing with each other to adopt him.
BAW will screen the potential adopters carefully. We must make sure that Louie’s bright spirit will thrive in a loving home.
