On August 8, 2025, Southeast Dermatology celebrated its fifth anniversary with a rebrand that reflects how far they’ve come. Now officially called Southeast Dermatology Specialists, the clinic has also unveiled a fresh new logo and is located at The Compound, Tulip Drive.
This isn’t just a visual update, it’s a reflection of the clinic’s evolution. From treating common skin concerns to addressing chronic illnesses through functional medicine, Southeast has expanded what it means to care for the skin by caring for the whole person.
How It Started

Southeast Dermatology was founded in 2017 by Dr. Jennifer Aileen Tangtatco and Dr. Bryan Edgar Guevara, two dermatologists with different specialties but a shared goal: to offer quality, patient-centered care in Davao. They started at the Sibley Medical Arts Building in Brokenshire Hospital, treating a full range of skin, hair, and nail concerns.
Over time, they noticed a shift. More patients were coming in with skin issues tied to underlying conditions: hormonal imbalances, stress, chronic inflammation. The clinic responded by expanding its services to include functional medicine and holistic health, bridging the gap between conventional dermatology and total wellness.
In 2021, they welcomed Dr. Casper Alcaraz to the team, whose background in nutrition and integrative medicine helped solidify the clinic’s transition into more comprehensive care.
