3. In the middle of everything you need.
During our stay, my brother needed to purchase a laptop. He took a 10 minute walk to the Ayala Malls. Somerset Olympia Makati is right in the middle of everything. It’s also conveniently located to many offices and is in the heart of the Central Business District.
I also enjoyed walking around the Ayala Triangle Park, which is just right across. It was also great to jog around the area, there were so many things to see.
On the weekends, there are a number of weekend markets like the Salcedo Saturday Market and Legazpi Sunday Market. This is where you can buy fresh and local produce and sample an array of cuisines.
It is also a few minutes drive away from the hottest bars and clubs. If you want to experience something rustic, I recommend you head on over to Poblacion. It’s where El Chupacabra, Handlebar, Senor Pollo and other restaurants are. Where you can meet a lot of foreign and local friends. If you want something a bit more upscale, use the Buendia bridge and you’ll arrive in BGC. This is home to the hottest clubs in Manila.
