7. All your salon needs downstairs
Hair emergency! I badly needed hair services while I was at Somerset. I was the girl who only had 1 salon in mind. It was scary to have a hair emergency which gave me no choice.
Gladly the hair salon downstairs was Creations by Lourd Ramos! It’s located at the Makati avenue side of Somerset Olympia. My friends were telling me about their expertise in hair cutting a while back but I’ve never tried it before. Â My male friends told me they do really good hair cut for men. Especially those who wanted something trendy like an undercut. They understand trends and would deliver well.
Brought my dad to get a haircut to try out the theory that Creations can do a good male haircut. He loved it! Especially the massage that came with it. They also help you with your hair journey. If you want a certain style, explain it to them. You might need time to grow a portion first.
Of course my dad had to send me a hair-fie. Looks great!
They also offer other services such as manicures, pedicures and even waxing. I was asking their senior stylist on the products that they use on their clients. He told me about the brand “Davines.” It is this beautiful company that promotes sustainable beauty. They use the finest ingredients like acai oil, almond butter, coconut powder, fig milk and so on.
They also understood sophisticated hair coloring. I can be really OC when it comes to my hair since I was once a hair colorist. I wanted a ballayage (hair painting) but found that salons didn’t understand what I wanted. I was also very meticulous when it came to hair color. I didn’t want to go to a salon that would make my hair yellow!
The lighting inside the salon was really warm. My hair didn’t look brassy at all.
What I loved about Creations was that it was so convenient to go to. Also, their hairstylist knew what I was talking about. I wanted to get highlights. I specifically asked them to tone my hair (so it won’t look brassy) they said they used something better than a toner. They advised me that toners wouldn’t last that long.
