Skin 101 Clinics is headed by Dr. Oliver Diaz for Cosmetology and Dr. Jennie Francisco-Diaz for Dermatology. We had ourselves scheduled and recently visited their Katipunan Branch, which is just minutes away from Robinsons Galleria.
Upon arrival, we were immediately assisted by their staff and were asked to fill out an assessment form.
We were asked what treatment will we avail; but since it’s our first time, we opted to have the Diamond peel and RevLite. Included in our chosen services is the Facial. All facials done at Skin 101 involves thorough cleaning, relaxing face massage, and vacuum. It can be done every week for 30-45 minutes duration.

Materials used for treatment are cleaned and disinfected regularly to ensure sanitation and hygiene.
For those who regularly have their facials done, they would agree when I say that facials are really painful! I was already expecting the worst when I laid in the treatment bed… To my surprise, it didn’t feel like I was having a facial because there was little to no pain at all!
We proceeded with the Diamond peel afterwards–a non-invasive procedure that removes the outermost layer of dry, dead skin cells to reveal younger, healthier-looking skin. By doing this, it encourages the production of a new underlying layer of skin cells with higher levels of collagen and elastin, which will improve the skin’s appearance.

After our diamond peel, we proceeded to the Revlite room. Revlite is a treatment used to remove scars, sunspots, pigmentation and other discolorations in the skin. The procedure looks scary since we were given stress balls to hold and the eyes were covered. At the start of the procedure, a slight tingly sensation is to be felt on the area similar to a thin rubber band snapping. There is also a burning smell since facial hair is burned. No need to worry because you will get used to it in a minutes. The procedure is done 3 times covering the whole face and lasts about 15 minutes.

After all the procedure, we were charged Php 3,000.00 and it was so worth it. Our face felt renewed, clean and light.
