The island isn’t cooling down anytime soon. Single’s Inferno is officially returning for season six, marking another milestone for the hit reality dating series.

Production has been confirmed for the new season, making Single’s Inferno Netflix Korea’s longest-running unscripted title—and the first Korean reality show on the platform to reach a sixth season.
Producers Kim Jae-won, Kim Jung-hyun, and Park Su-ji shared their thoughts on the renewal: “Thanks to our fans’ unwavering love, we’re thrilled to return with an even hotter season of Single’s Inferno. We’ll continue listening closely to your feedback to make the show as exciting as ever.”
For those who need a quick refresher, Single’s Inferno follows a group of singles stranded on a remote island dubbed “Inferno.” The only way to leave the island for the more luxurious “Paradise” is by successfully coupling up.
Over the seasons, the show has become known for its mix of slow-burn romance, candid conversations, unexpected twists, and panel commentary that reacts to every awkward pause and bold confession.
Since its debut, the series has steadily built a global following. Season one made history as the first Korean unscripted series to enter Netflix’s Global Top 10 (Non-English TV), and season three stayed on the top 10 charts for five weeks across 31 countries, while season four recorded the highest watch hours during its premiere week at the time. Most recently, season five climbed to number two on the Global Top 10 (Non-English TV) list.
With each installment raising the stakes, many viewers are curious about what season six will bring—new personalities and dynamics, and, of course, more moments that spark conversation online. The panel of MCs—Hong Jin-kyung, Lee Da-hee, Kyuhyun, Hanhae, and Dex—is also expected to return with their signature commentary that has become part of the show’s appeal.
More details about the cast and premiere date have yet to be announced. In the meantime, seasons one through five of Single’s Inferno are currently streaming on Netflix.
