Singapore is a melting pot of many cuisines— from Malaysian to Chinese, Taiwan, and even Thai. And when you think of Hawker dishes, top of mind choices include Laksa and Hainanese Chicken. Since it looks like we can’t go over there any time soon to revisit them, though, our best bet would be restaurants here in the Philippines.
Thankfully, Shiok Shiok Singapore Famous Hawker Food delivers food this quarantine. Located in a small street in Banawe, this restaurant offers Singaporean cuisine ranging from Salted Egg Prawns, and the well-loved Hainanese Chicken. This slow-cooked chicken is known for its tender meat and characteristic fatty yellow skin. It’s also served with oily chicken rice, and your choice sauces: ginger, chili, and dark soy sauce. While seemingly simplistic, this dish comes packed with tons of flavor.

To get your Singaporean favorites, you can either order through GrabFood or have it delivered by a third-party courier. This includes Grab Express, Happy Move or Lalamove. If you have your own car, you can also go to the restaurant to pick up your orders. Their menu is limited at the moment because of a lack of supplies, but you can always give them a call to see what they have.
