Beloved local chocolate brand Serg’s Chocolates caught the attention of many when it announced that it is eyeing a comeback this year.

In a Facebook post, Serg’s Chocolates revealed that a comeback had been planned, but the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted their timeline. Further setbacks came when the 2024 floods brought by Typhoon Carina damaged the warehouse housing their machinery.

Despite the challenges over the years, the brand is now looking forward to a fresh start.

“2026 will be our restart year,” the local brand wrote. “We’re starting small—Serg’s Chocolate Bars—back where it all began in 1954 on Cordillera St., Quezon City.”

According to the post, they plan to share updates and progress in the first quarter of 2026 to maintain transparency and accountability, while eyeing a return by the third quarter.

“We may also ask for your help along the way—so we can bring Serg’s back together and preserve Serg’s Chocolates as a Filipino family legacy that will last for generations,” the post added.

It concluded: “Maraming salamat po sa inyong pag-unawa (Thank you for understanding), and we apologize for the delay.”

Founded in 1954, Serg’s Chocolates became widely popular for its chocolate products, including Serg’s Chocolate Bar, Moonbits, and Egg Chocolates, among others.
