Sound Quality: These may be one of the few in-ear earphones that I can wear all day. Technically, there are some sparkle lacking with the treble, soundstage may be on average, but what I liked about the IE60, verging away from all the technicalities, is with how the mids are forward and are smooth. The music and notes easily flow fluid in articulation. Combine that with the treble that has no spike, yet is enough to replicate good timbre, as well as the matching of the mid bass that does not step into the IE80 like bloat, and you have an in-ear earphone that probably has one of the most non-fatiguing sound signature. Vocals are arrayed with power and smoothness. It has good body with the mids that are forward and dominant, yet retains tamed edges so as to not overpower the notes. Overall, I can listen to the Sennheiser IE60 for the entire day, I find no fatigue and the mids are just sweet unlimited vocal bliss
Overall, the Sennheiser IE60 is a big step-up from the former Sennheiser IE6 and I may even prefer these over the old Sennheiser IE8. The Sennheiser IE60 retails for P9900.00 and can be bought at Egghead Audiohub, located at Level 1 MyDomain Robinson’s Galleria.
