Enter February and talks of love will probably fill the surroundings. I admit: it can get pretty annoying, especially for the unattached ones out there (I raise my hand with you). This time, however, I want to talk about a different type of love: love for food. Many of you will probably be able to relate to how much passion and heart we can put into what we eat. In fact, I can remember every bit of great food that I have tasted.
One fond memory is my first time at Sandaya Yakiniku Fishermall last year. Since I’m totally into Japanese food, I really love their offerings there! From the warm greetings of their staff (with 90-degree bows, the Japanese way!) to their yummy fare, this Japanese restaurant is indeed one of the best ones I’ve tried.
As such, I was so happy when I went back to Sandaya Yakiniku Fishermall to have dinner on a Thursday night after work. Some friends and I shared the Sandaya experience and I fell in love all over again. I realized then that love, indeed, is sweeter the second time around.
This love was heightened by the new fare we tried: the Black Pork Sausage and the Spicy Tuna Sashimi (available by request). The sausage is so flavorful, juicy, and let me say, incomparable. It’s the kind of sausage you can eat everyday without getting umay. The sashimi, on the other hand, is perfect if you want a kick of spiciness with the raw stuff.

This second dinner at Sandaya Yakiniku Fishermall was even sweeter because their food tasted better than before. As owner Avin Ong told us, “Of course, kailangan may improvement,” proving that this Japanese dining spot will continue to serve you better with every visit.
