Last year, I made a conscious decision to live a healthier, more fit lifestyle. More or less, I have stuck to this resolution: I now gym regularly and as much as possible, I try to eat healthier. With this new, more active orientation, I quickly signed up for #RoxyFitness as soon as I heard about it.
Roxy has been known for being a brand that empowers and supports women. It is one of my favorites at the beach – but now, you can wear Roxy even outside of the water! #RoxyFitness is a global event that launched Roxy’s newest fitness line.

Of course, what better way to celebrate this launch that a day of fun and fitness. It was an active day by the beach organized solely for women.
The day started early with a three hour drive to Hamilo Coast’s Pico de Loro in Batangas. It was still dark out when we arrived but everyone was buzzing with excitement.
The first activity was a quick run and the group was greeted with beautiful scenery as the day broke.
Next up was a yoga class under the trees.
Now, I’ve never been one to enjoy yoga in particular but this was definitely a treat. The open space by the beach and the calm atmosphere that surrounded us was very relaxing. It was a quiet moment to fine tune your body and meditate.
It was a beautiful, calming experience. After the class, I was ready to go conquer the rest of the day and any other activity that came my way.
We headed to the beach after for stand up paddle board.
For those of you not familiar with this activity – it’s literally standing on a board and paddling. We were briefed on how to do it on the shore and soon enough…
We found this activity so fun that WIMtern Roselle did seconds!
The rest of the day was spent lazing by the beach and enjoying the water.
