It was recently announced that Beyoncé is going on the Renaissance World Tour. According to Live Nation, this is her first solo tour in over six years.
The Renaissance World Tour will kick off on May 10, 2023, at at Friends Arena in Stockholm, and will make various stops across Europe before going to North America.
Some of the European cities Beyoncé will visit are Cardiff, Edinburgh, Sunderland, Paris, London, Marseille, Amsterdam, Warsaw, Brussels, Barcelona, Cologne, Frankfurt, Hamburg, and more. In North America, the singer will perform in Toronto, Chicago, East Rutherford, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Houston, Boston, Charlotte, Dallas, Detroit, Kansas City, Louisville, Miami, Minneapolis, Nashville, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, St. Louis, Tampa, Vancouver, and more.
There is no word yet about touring cities outside of Europe and North America.

The tour will support her seventh studio album, Renaissance. According to Beyoncé on Instagram, “Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world. It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving.”
She added, “My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment. A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom. It was a beautiful journey of exploration. I hope you find joy in this music. I hope it inspires you to release the wiggle. Ha! And to feel as unique, strong, and sexy as you are.”
The album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart. It was also ranked as the best album of 2022 in many publications, including the New York Times, Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, and more. Renaissance has nine nominations at this year’s Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year, and Record of the Year and Song of the Year for the lead single “Break My Soul.”
