Reebok Philippines Unveils the First Ever FitHub in the Country
When In Manila, working out has becoming such a regular activity what with the growing trend of fitness activities and classes out there, including Zumba, CrossFit, TRX, and Yogilates. Well, last month, Reebok Philippines unveiled something that aims to further fire up that spirit of fitness among Filipinos.
Reebok and the Royal Sporting House unveiled the Philippines’ inaugural Reebok FitHub Shop-In-Shop at the latter’s branch at the 2nd Level of Glorietta 4 in Makati. The first FitHub in the country is just one of the growing number of concept stores around the globe, and for Reebok Philippines, this helps the brand empower more people to get into the fit life in the country. This endeavor of Reebok Philippines was also taken up a notch more through the introduction of their new brand mark, the “Delta”, which symbolizes change for a better life through fitness.
It was at around 10am when the program started. We watched some videos of Reebok’s top global executives, and were then introduced to Reebok’s new visual identity: the “Delta“.
The now-Adidas-owned brand is positioned as the brand of choice for consumers “embracing a fitness lifestyle”, and the Delta mark has three parts that help symbolise just that.
“The three distinct parts each represent changes—physical, mental and social – that occur when people push themselves beyond their perceived limits and embrace an active and challenging life.”
Moments later, the FitHub was finally revealed to the tune of camera clicks from the press.
It was indeed a fresh different concept to see in a sports retail environment. After the grand uncovering, distinguished guests were invited to talk about some of the fitness classes commonly found within the cities. To keep the ceremonies livelier, a Zumba demo, a Bodyfit demo, and a Bodycombat demo were presented, as well.
Designed to inspire people to move, to train, to get fit and have fun doing it, the Reebok FitHub is a cool retail destination that offers you a remodeled way of purchasing the right tools for your workout. How? Well, this retail space is surrounded by elements which are usually found in fitness studios. What makes it great is that its environment makes you feel raw, just like you’re in a gym with all the fitness equipment around you.
As a store, Reebok’s newest collections specifically dedicated to fitness will be made exclusive to the FitHub only. “This premium footwear and apparel collection features Reebok’s top-of-the-line technology and materials, allowing for optimal performance and comfort.”
Reebok Philippines’ Sales and Marketing Manager, Yoya Maglaya, commented; “We’re extremely excited to have opened the first Reebok FitHub Shop-in-Shop. The FitHub is great statement to prove Reebok’s commitment to getting people active. It will give consumers a full fitness experience like no other, inspire people to get moving and become a desirable destination for the fitness community.”
Meanwhile, the best part of the launch was the giveaway of this stunning pair of Reebok shoes which is a part of their latest running collection, the ZSERIES COLLECTION. “This unique, natural motion product is inspired by the design of high-performance ZRated tires found on exotic high-end sports cars. ZRated tires are designed for use on cars that travel at speeds in excess of 149 mph (240 km/h) and the treads are engineered for ultimate ground contact and the ability to rapidly move in and out of turns at high speed.”
Reebok’s aim is to “help people change for the better – to be the best version of themselves through embracing a fitness lifestyle”, and with the unveiling of the first FitHub in the country, we definitely now know THE right place to get the right tools for workouts.
In fitness, most often we fall into complacency that slows down our growth instead of reaching greater heights faster. It is indeed important to push ourselves to the limit; it may be hard sometimes, but when we do overcome those limits that we previously can’t reach, it’s just one of the greatest feelings ever!
