Liza Soberano celebrated her 25th birthday on January 4, 2023, and her boyfriend Enrique Gil wrote a touching message on Instagram.
He wrote, “We might be worlds apart, but you’ve never been closer to my heart. To the most beautiful soul in the world. To my best friend and baby. I love you so much. Happy birthday!!”
The message was accompanied by photos of the couple on their trips. A video was included of a group of loved ones singing the happy birthday song to Soberano.
Soberano and Gil have been together since 2014 but only revealed their relationship to the public in 2019.
Rumors of a split have been following the couple after the two have not been seen together for a while. Soberano has been spending time in the US, while Gil was in Spain earlier this year with his family. The actress denied the split last June.
She said, “He knew all about my US trip and I had talked to him, and I was like, ‘These are really big opportunities that I don’t want to miss upon, I hope you understand.’ He’s totally understanding about the whole thing and very supportive. We’re totally fine.”
