The theatre spotlight truly shines bright for Rachelle Ann Go, who’s had back-to-back successes on London’s West End, first as Gigi in the revival of Miss Saigon, then as Fantine in Les Miserables. Rachelle will enjoy a starring role as the wife of Alexander Hamilton, the titular character, and will have two solo performances, “Helpless”, and “Burn”.

Christine Allado, meanwhile, will be performing two roles in the musical, first as Peggy Schuyler, and in the second act, as Maria Reynolds, Hamilton’s lover.

Rachelle and Christine will be joining the stage in the song, “The Schuyler Sisters”, with actress Rachel John, who was cast as the third sister, Angelica.

Hamilton is known for its ethnically diverse cast taking on majority of the roles in the musical.

West End and Broadway icon Lea Salonga quickly congratulated the two for landing the Schuyler sisters’ role.

Congratulations, Rachelle and Christine!
